Between 2015 and 2018 I was fortunate enough to be a Fellowship Holder with the Royal Literary Fund, first at The University of Lancaster and subsequently at Manchester and Liverpool Universities. It is a great scheme and helped fund my own literary endeavours during this period. The RLF also offered plentiful outlets for my writing in the shape of short essay pieces and oral presentations.
